Finansi.bg faced the formidable task of developing a platform that could efficiently extract and present critical financial data from a vast and diverse set of documents. The primary challenge was dealing with inconsistently structured data across __2 million documents__, where not all pages held relevant information. This required a sophisticated solution to accurately sift through the noise and extract only the most pertinent data. Additionally, the platform needed to maintain high Google rankings, deliver exceptional site speed, and ensure a seamless user experience across all major browsers, all while controlling costs in processing and managing this extensive data.

Challenge

To address these challenges, we employed a data-driven approach leveraging __advanced AI__ and __data processing tools__. We integrated a monolithic architecture using Laravel and employed AI-driven data processing to efficiently manage and categorize the vast datasets, which included over __2 million records__ in the document database.

Key technologies included __Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)__ for enhanced data retrieval and __VoyagerAI__, which provided superior results compared to traditional __OpenAI embeddings__. These tools, combined with __Azure__ for scalable cloud services and __ChromaDB__ for vector-based data retrieval, allowed us to streamline the process of extracting, organizing, and analyzing financial information with unprecedented accuracy and efficiency.

By using __VoyagerAI__ and __ChromaDB__, we automated the extraction of key financial data from over half a million documents, significantly reducing manual effort and ensuring high accuracy. An entire pipeline was developed __to sanitize and normalize the data__, which was then processed by multiple algorithms to produce standardized outputs. 

Throughout the process, __error detection algorithms__ flagged documents or pages for manual review, ensuring the highest level of data integrity. Out of all processed documents (__over than 2 million__), __fewer than 8k__ required human intervention, highlighting the efficiency and accuracy of the automated system.

Our innovative approach reduced the expected data processing costs by __80%__ through the application of various resource optimization techniques, making the solution __highly cost-efficient__. By calculating the wages of manual data processors, it was evident that handling this volume manually would have been prohibitively expensive and time-consuming.

In contrast, our AI-driven solution slashed costs by __99.1%__, reducing the expense from an estimated __2 million euros__ to just __18k euros__. This automation accomplished in a fraction of the time what would have taken a team of employees __over a year__ to process manually. This not only made the project financially viable but also ensured timely and scalable data handling for ongoing operations.

Onno Plus needed to scale its operations which meant wide-scale adoption of new systems and apps to support, extend, and automate their processes. Their existing order management system was inefficient and limited in functionality.

The support and sales teams worked in two completely separate systems. This made it hard to track, measure, and compare the impact the teams were having. The challenge was to unify all teams and processes under an extendible, fast, and scalable central app.

In the following month, we introduced the sales module to the CRM. This allowed the sales team to easily share and access customer information and sales data, leading to better collaboration and coordination.

StaffSquared platform was acquired at the end of 2019 as the company had a good product-market fit. 

Although, at that time, the platform included dozens of features that were barely known and rarely used by customers. Several essential functionalities were buggy and built with poor performance. Customers were contacting the support and reporting various problems.

The StaffSquared team was searching for a reliable tech partner who could lead and manage all needed technical work.
